Full time Limassol, 3 days on site Greek & English €28,000 – €33,000

You will keep shipments moving between our Limassol office and our partner in Piraeus, and you will own the customs documentation queue day to day. It is the role that makes the difference between a container clearing on Tuesday and clearing on Friday.

What you will do

Own the customs documentation queue. Around 40 shipments a week, from booking to clearance, working directly with our Piraeus partner.
Chase what is missing before it becomes a delay. Most held containers are held for one absent document, and finding it early is the whole job.
Keep the tracking sheet true. Everyone else plans from it, so it has to be right by the end of each day.
Be the point of contact for three key accounts when they ask where a shipment is. You will not be passing them on to someone else.
Flag the patterns. If the same route is late three weeks running, you are the person who says so.

What we are looking for

Needed on day one

Two years in freight, logistics or customs handling
Greek and English, written and spoken, both used daily
Comfortable in spreadsheets, including lookups and filters
Able to hold a firm line with a supplier on the phone

Helpful, not required

Experience with Cyprus or Greek customs procedures
Worked with a freight forwarder or a 3PL before
Any exposure to temperature-controlled shipping
A third language, Russian or Arabic especially

What we offer

€28,000 – €33,000, depending on customs experience. The band is published because we do not negotiate against people who ask for less.
13th salary, private medical cover after six months, 21 days' leave.
Three days on site, two from home, and the on-site days are fixed so you can plan around them.
The training you will actually need: the customs certification, paid, in your first year.
